This week's photo comes to us from CFRT reader Sean in Orlando. Sean snapped this photo of some football paraphernalia hanging on the wall at Jack's BBQ in Minneola, FL. Sean says the food's decent, but the place is a virtual museum with all the Florida football stuff on the wall. This photo, in particular, is of a much younger "Mr. Not-So-Fast-My-Friend" Lee Corso (on right) when he was the head coach of the USFL's Orlando Renegades in 1985.
Not so fast my friend! This photo I took was at the home of the Renegade's owner, pictured on the left. But Jack Benny's BBQ is pretty much all things Gators. Any Gator football fan should make the trip. The BBQ is pretty darn good(get the ribs or pulled pork!!), but the nostalgic memorabilia is priceless. I believe I sent you a photo "Eyes on the Prize" featuring Steve Spurrier in the early '90s with his sights on the Sear's Trophy. It's well worth the trip down memory lane, with a bonus side of slaw.
